Sternwood upgrades melamine faced boards, imports and distributes wood based panels, manufactures 3D pressform PVC wrapped panels and manufactures CNC machined board components. The company is based both in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, South Africa. The name “Sternwood” is synonymous with quality and dates back over 35 years.

Sternwood’s primary product lines include superior quality upgraded melamine faced boards, using various imported and locally sourced wood based panels acquired from sustainable, renewable sources.

Our PVC wrapped 3D pressform doors and various machined components are manufactured from these wood based panels. All products are constructed of wood and wood based substrates. Only the highest quality raw material inputs are used in our manufacturing process.

Sternwood distributes its products to merchants, cabinetmakers, shopfitters and craftsmen throughout Southern Africa using both its own transport fleet and efficient outsourced transporters, ensuring timely reliable delivery.
